With AI videos becoming more realistic and Hollywood mostly consisting of overpaid politician wannabe's I have to wonder how long it will be before all these "actors" will be replaced with AI. In the short videos below porch pirates face instant Karma while stealing packages. From all that I read MOST of these are fake and would pretty much have to be to prevent lawsuits. The point is, these "people" look real so why not use a likeness of someone real or made up for movies? On YouTube there are numerous videos also of known dead people made from just using old photo's. Some of these are really good--some not so much. There's a lot of it going around, many of which you've probably seen. The clip below is just a small example.

I don't think it's AI. Some of the "episodes" I've seen look contrived, like those looking for their 15 seconds of fame. However; this is the first I've heard porported police speeking.
None I've ever seen carry the action to a conculision. One "victim" apparently called the police on the pkg owner victim of the theft with all the self admission evidence on display that she is the perp, not the victim.
That said, does she have a case of entrapment with a "dangerous booytrap"? That can be argued many ways in court. Would you want a pissed off stranger loose to come back for a visit later out of camera's range? Depending on red or blue jurisdiction, could home owner be taken away on cuffs?
At the end of the day tho, the vids fulfill a deep sense of what we all would like to do to a thief. -
A little different twist:
I think I'm the only old Beatle fan here but everyone is familiar with them. Some of the clips of John Lennon are clearly NOT of him especially an outdoor scene or two but the rest are real still pictures put into motion using AI. I included this because around 0:35 it shows King Charles trimming Lennon's hair which I thought was kinda funny.
Lennon is the main character because this is one of his songs.

AI has been around for a while.
These are old commercials. Note how the lion ducks his head when going into the garage.
There are many of these on YouTube especially "shorts".
