Paul McCartney once woke up with a tune in his head. He later struck out the notes on a piano for John Lennon to hear. Paul asked, where do I know this tune from? John answered: "That's new---that's yours".
Paul called the song scrambled eggs and added words of such to fit the number of syllables needed for the tune. Not please with that he later re-titled the song "Yesterday" and changed all the words.
