I don't know why there are so many references to the Tin Man being a "Homo". Perhaps throughout life I missed something or perhaps some of the retarded remakes of this show later on emphasized it? I donno.
I think most of us thought the same thing in the original about why didn't Glenda, the good witch, tell Dorthy early on she could go home any time she wanted instead of going through all that BS. Might have made for a short movie though.
Anyway, you can understand her frustration. Most of the voices are accurate as well as the costumes but just like a woman, she criticizes a man for not having any desire to make a pass at her (homo) and condemns those that are straight within the same paragraph.
The original was an annual event of course but when VCR's came out we recorded it and our kids watched it many, many times. Since I pretty much know every word by heart now I'll probably never watch it again but I'll always think of Glenda as the "Psycho Glitter Bi*ch" now.
