    Jap 6.5 rifle question

I picked up a couple Jap 6.5 rifles the other day at an auction tho I dont know why. I guess I held my hand up too long. I really didnt know what they were other that jap rifles because they had small Mums on them that had not been destroyed.m

Anyway they need alot of parts to complete like stocks and stuff. Where can you get parts to complete them?

Put an add in the want sell/want to buy forum. Might also try Ebay and some of the gun auction sites like Gun Broker as they have parts quite often.

This type of work tends to put one far ahead of what an original would cost.
T99s have different stock variations and spare parts are not cheap anymore.
There are also arsenal marks to consider for "Correct" rebuilds.

      Good luck.

Check Numrich, you can get repro stocks from time to time. Ebay or gunbroker have original stocks but often for more than the rifle is worth.

I have just about every part you could want for a Japanese rifle. But, you need to find a stock first.

Post pics of the rifles and pics of the top of the receiver and the marks next to the serial numbers and we can atleast give you an idea of whether or not you should even try to restore them.

I'll post some pics of the rifles when I figure out how. Iv'e done it before but i't been years. I'll probably dump them sooner than later if they have any value.

I usually upload to facebook then right clikc properties and cut and paste the info into the image link on here. Easiest way for me. Photobucket is another option.

Every once in a while you get a real rarity thats been sporterised. One of my prized rifles is a sporterised barreled action that looks worthless but there is no mum, just a very clean circle in circle. The concentric circle rifles are worth getting in any condition.

I sent you a private message. I am interested in them but would like more info as to what all is on them. Do they have bolts, triggers, magazine wells......etc
