    Ross Rifle Bayonet value

A friend has a U.S. marked Ross Bayonet and scabbard and wants to know what it is worth on todays market. I told him if unaltered, probably in the $200 range. It has all original finish with no fighting knife tip alteration. Does my price guess seem about right?

I just sold a Ross Bayonet and scabbard for $200.00. The bayonet was Canadian and US marked. The scabbard had a Canadian Militia stamp and a hand written name with the handwritten date of 1917-18. $200.00 is in the ball park unless one of the two is roached.

"...price guess seem about right?..." Yep. There's currently one in reasonable good condition, on Gun International, the guy s is asking $200 for. No dates on there.
Anything 'Ross' was only made in Canada.
      Spelling and grammar count!

When I say US marked I'm talking about the 20,000 rifles sent to the states in 1917 with bayonets. US and flaming bombed stamped on the handle, did not mean to give impression it was US made.
