Help with WW2 USMC fighting knife?

I was just given a knife, I think is WW2, overall length is 12 inches and has a leather handle made of stacked washers, the cross guard is marked,"Camillus,N.Y. and USMC", does anyone have and idea as to worth? It appears to have a blued blade and a round pinned steel pommel cap, leather handle is in v. good condition. The scabbard is severely decayed and crumbly. A high and low range for this item would be greatly appreciated...thank you in advance for any information provided. Jim

Sounds like a common Camillus Kabar. Nothing rare, bad scabbard hurts it. Sounds like $100 max. This based on your description. All over ebay.
