Thanks, tested as a combination bayonet/entrenching tool. Didn't find favor, shorter than bayonets of the day and I imagine probably didn't made much of a shovel. As a knife when held as you can imagine it is very front heavy and unbalanced. Still an interesting piece. Probably looked pretty intimidating when mounted to a Krag.

Thanks for sharing, One of my favorite bayonets. Impractical but it sure has that look.
