    P17 Enfield bayonet locking lug

Need a replacement locking lug/cross guard latch for a P17 Enfield bayonet, including press stud/button, spring and lock bolt/latch. Anybody have these for sale or suggestions for a source?

You might try Numrick arms/e-gunparts. You don't see a lot of parts for the 1917 bayonet. I wonder if the parts you are looking for are the same as those on the british 1907 model or SMLE bayonet. The reason for the two grooves in the handle was so that the P-14 bayonet would not be confused with the earlier type.

Thanks, I'll ck Nummy. Good idea on the SMLE; I have one and the locking mech's do look similar. Didn't know the purpose of the dbl groove - interesting.

The M1917 bayonet is the same as the P14 bayonet with the exception of the markings. When the P14 contract ended, there were lots of bayonets in the factory, they were simply restamped.
