Like the display. Pardon my ignorance, but what what at the particular types of bayonets in the photo. Sincerely. bruce.

Dang me!! I should have read the forums before cleaning out the garage. I just tossed out those wire shelves and braces because they sat for years stacked in the corner doing nothing. Thought to myself "I'm probably going to be able to use this some day". Lo and behold....

Looking at the time stamp I tossed it to the scrapper only a few hours after your idea was posted. Dang me again! LOL.
              Good idea. Thanks.
What did you use to address the rough edges where you needed to snip a wire?

You can purchase little rubber end caps that slip right on. They're in the same section with the shelving.

That shelf sat in a corner of the garage for years when it suddenly dawned on me how I could use it.

The earlier bayonets needed a hook to hold up one end, later bayonets have a hook on the scabbard that serves the same purpose.
