I have a 1950s M7 scabbard new in the USGI packaging. I removed it from the packaging and it is a very funny light color. The funny color is presumably from the package. I spilled a drop of Hoppes on it and now there is a small stain on it. This made me want to be careful on how I clean it. What is the best way to clean off the scabbard witout ruining it?
