1871 Mauser bayonet I have wanted one for my rifle for some time watched Ebay but they go out of my price range fairly quick got this one for $80.00 I had to fabricate the latch for it but given the price I did not mind one bit.

Nice find. Sometimes you just have to wait it out to find what you want at the price you can afford to pay. Nothing wrong with that these days or any other time.Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
