    Has anyone seen

I remember many many years ago going to a sale at a military depot where they had Navy 03 practice bayonets with a black plastic blade. Have never seen them again and at the time I didn't buy one.

I've seen them at shows on occasion John but I can't recall seeing one for about 10 years. I'm going to the Indy 1500 gun show in a couple of weeks. What's a reasonable price for one. I could send it out to you if I find one.

I use to see them all the time as I live close to Great Lake Training Center. Most were chipped and or broken with minty ones hard to find. Don't see many any longer.

Haven''t paid attention to these for about a year, still see them around occasionally. Prices for the bayonet run around $100-110 for unchipped, unbroken examples, and around $70-75 for the scabbards. The scabbards are easier to find, and you will occasionally see one on ebay. The bayonets appear on ebay every so often, you just have to look.
The plastic bayonets will not fit the M1903/M1903A3 rifles, only the Paris-Dunn training (non-firing) rifles.

I bought one '03 rifle at Great Lakes and many parts. Rifle was 16 bucks, rec. 3, trigger guard group w/floor plate&spring 3, bolt complete 2 or 3. They had Stevens roit guns also, plus much non-gun stuff.
Never saw any boyo's but I had one of the plastic ones when a kid, surplus store in town. of course I broke it! Had one of the Paris dummy rifles, too, don't remember what happened to that!
