K-Bar hunting knives

Have had the knife bug lately and have been looking at some K-Bar hunting knives along with Marbles and Western knives . Have a little experience with the latter two but none with K-Bar .
Was wondering what some of you might think of them in sharpening and holding edge .
The ones I am looking at seem to be of early K-Bars . Thanks , Kenneth

I would call the knives made pre-war by Union Cutlery, (KaBar), are pretty comparable to others like Marbles, Case, Western, etc. Of the four mentioned Western got into the fixed blade knife game later.

Thank you for the info . looks like I will not be picking this one up . Made an offer , he made a counter offer , I agreed if it included shipping , and when the wife and I got back from dinner he had pulled the add .
