    Cheap Knife

Picked this up yesterday from a discount store.

With Puma(?) and others now mfg in P-ROC, I would not be surprised.

    Leatherneck SF

Somehow, I don't think this is a "real" Cold Steel knife. Note upside-down installed scales. I think a cheap knock-off, more than anything else. The edge on it ain't bad- it's actually quite sharp.

Have more on this in a bit....

For knock around knives, I go for garage sale kitchen knives - usually less than a dollar even for Chicago Cutlery which has good steel.

I learned the meat cutter trade with Chicago Cutlery knives, 12 inch butcher and 6 inch boner, with a tri stone and steel to keep them sharp

It came with a couple of extras:

Upside down scales show again on the off side. Accessories clip is also installed upside down.

Fire starter flint rod and tiny LED torch.
This is my first (I think) survival type knife. There is a hexagonal hole in the finger guard that had me thinking possible bayonet. I did not take a photo of the pommel, which is mounted by a pin in a one sided hole.

Belt clip side. At least they put the belt clip right side up.
