    scabbard question on M1910

    Is there any way to tell who made it? I CA post pics tonight if need be

    I seem to recall reading somewhere that any identification of the manufacturer would be stamped into the back of the leather tip.

      Correct. I just bought a 1905 RIA bayonet dated 1906 . It came with a 1910 canvass scabbard with RIA stamped on the back of the tip. Not sure if this was done throughout production,
