Help with a M1917 Trench knife

I need help in identifying the manufacturer of this M1917 Trench knife. It would appear that some restoration/clean-up has been done prior to me getting it.

Looks like American Cutlery . Is any portion of A.C.CO U.S.A. identifiable in photo 1?

I have one with exactly that handle but it has a cruciform blade. I think it is a reproduction.

Has the style of the A.C.Co. knuckle bow, but the marking is nowhere near right. Not like anything I have seen.

Top marking a known reproduction, bottom is original.
