    Garand scabbard maker.

    I just purchased a UC bayonet (uncut 10 inch, M1) from the CMP. It came in a scabbard marked E-US on the front. I was wondering if any of you knew who made the scabbard. Also, the finish on the blade looks so good, I was wondering if the military may have refinished the blade (it is a dark black now). Any help will be appreciated.

      The scabbard is not US...and likely refinished...I was disappointed with my bayonets after being in at 9:01 on the 29th and waiting seven weeks for two that I sent back, one run over by a truck.
