    m1 grand bayonet

    iam seeking a bayonet with sheath for one of these rifles,anyone have one thats used please let me know,i dont want after market new stuff if icaan help it thanks squires

          Agree. I got a near new/unissued AFH earlier this year when they first went on sale.

          On a related note, anyone hear anything about when the 16 inch blades will be available from CMP?

                  I have three of the CMP Garand bayonets. They're probably a good deal . . . and authentic for sure . . . but they were lent to Greece and they show it. All three of mine have Greek inventory numbers engraved on the crosspieces and all of the scabbards have the (IMO) rather homely Greek repair tips. You generally get what you pay for. JMHO.
