    My 1896 rifle

I'm just messing around with my iPhone camera to see how to get the best photos.
So, let us see how my angle and focus work out...

Thanks Blacknj ! I'd like to take some photos outside, but any temperature below freezing just starts to suck the life out of me after three or more minutes. It's not even Twenty degrees outside now. It has been around 90 degrees below freezing on and off depending on the wind chill up here on our hill this winter.
Except for there being more air pressure here, our house might as well be somewhere on the planet Mars as opposed to being here in Nebraska in regards to getting that cold outside. Lol

I can't manage to get any good focus with the iPhone camera. I'll try my iPad and see what happens. I'm trying to hold as steady as I can. Ha!

Late to the party but very, very nice, Fred. Your pictures are always quite clear for not using a tripod.

Late to the party as well.

Rifle looks like a new one.

I have commented before about your picture quality and was surprised they were taken with your phone camera. I have a Nikon D3200 with a $700 lens and have problems turning out stuff this nice.

Thanks Allen! I don't know squat about photography, but it's fun for me to be able to share my rifle with others. Nobody ever gets to actually hold them because we live too far from anyone to make for an easy visit.

Fred, is your rifle cut for an oiler?
