    It just goes to show......

That with a little crafty wording and a few impressive looking highlights in a book, you can land a real sucker once in a while......

Last gun show I was at I "gave away" a rifle I put together from parts. I thought it the ugliest Krag imaginable till I saw the one in the link you just posted. And the one I sold/gave away had more integrity too.

How about the "speed line" on the front sight? That'll snag your britches.

All it needs is a naked lady carved in the buttstock. With red plastic jewels for her eyes. (don't laugh, I saw that at a flea market in Gallup once)

Every now and then you can see this happen. A very bad firearm sells for a ridiculous price. I suspect that this is a con job with a friend buying the piece for inflated price to give the gun some authenticity to snag the next buyer.

I sure hope you are being facetious! Can't tell about the base, the leaf has been polished and the slide is largely bogus.

I'm no expert by any means, but it looks to me like the barrel may be 24 inches.... of course, that may be because of the ridiculous looking stock too! My sporter "Bubba" stock has better fitting around the parts than that hack job! YIKES!!!

I sincerely, deeply hope that this is the case of a friend with a mock bid on that rifle.

It would have to be - NO ONE ELSE could be that stupid (but no, wait a minute, there were MILLIONS of stupid people 3 months ago, what am I saying?)

Of course, FWIW, such behavior is against the rules.
