Just ran across this post of a carbine barrel. What do the members think?

I cringe when I think of how many Krags have been 'parted out' on ebay.

(It is a carbine barrel - btw).

The seam with bronze brazing is what you look for to identify an original Krag front-sight.

A carbine barrel will be exactly 22 inches from muzzle-crown to the closed bolt-face, when measured using a cleaning-rod.
