    Excelent Repro slings

I could not be happier for what I thought would be beater slings for my Krag and Trapdoor. Naturally I am going to dye them and treat them but in case anyone is looking for a perfect sling for this here they are. I honestly found no flaws to be upset with. I do not know the buyer and just went after them to see how they are. Rick B

Not too bad looking. Funny, the Ebay listing says 1887 Springfield Krag, which we know is wrong... but the price is amazing! I might just get one for my 1873 Trapdoor.

I recently picked up a Turners repro 1907 sling for my 1898 rifle.

Dredging this up because I bought one of these grade B slings. They're getting pretty dry. I've been putting Fiebings Neatsfoot Oil on it for 2 days, letting it soak in before I put another coat on. It's turned a nice dark brown, but I'm still concerned that the surface is going to crack when bent, especially at the holes for the hook. I'll keep at it. They sent me a BAR sling at first, had me scratching my head for awhile trying to figure a way to rig that!
