Somebody cut the forend off of a nice Krag. For some money, the wood could be spliced back onto what's left and you then would only need a front barrel band, stacking swivel, screws and a hand guard. It's been done before. Nice wood.Comment

I think you did all right. I have spliced a foregrip under the band. That tiger striping would be tough to match though. Anything in the butt plate?

The sling and muzzle cap added about 200 to the 300 dollar worth rifle, so 350 was not a bad price.Comment
