The Academy store in Humble, Texas has had a bunch of Remington .30-40 Krag for sale for months for $40.00. They've decided it's time for it to go and they have the last eight boxes (as of this morning) on sale for $25.50. Since this ammunition is so iffy as far as availability I thought I'd pass it on to anyone who has a Krag and lives in the Houston area.

It's been my understanding that the major manufacturer's usually make annual runs of .30-40 Krag for autumn sales. Now is probably not a great time of year to be looking for it, but it's usually available.
