    Ok need a simple answer on Carbines

    No I do not have pictures as I do not have the carbines in hand. A friend call and told me he has or is getting them, 2 each carbines. All I know at this time is is rough s/n's. One being 79,000 range and the other 288,00 range. Do these fall into the general carbine range?
    I need a lot more information from him but just trying to start narrowing down the possibilities.

      288035 and 79814. Got them real cheap.

      Yes they are both carbines. The 1899 was a steal. The 1896 has major issues.
