Picked up a 1943 IBM

There are times I really hate Cabellas, went in a couple of weeks ago to pick up a Type 44 Arisaka I had on Lay away but before I did I went to the gun library and, well that was a mistake. I saw 5 M1 Carbines, one was a IBM, the others were Auto Ordnance, The IBM was a old blue sky import, with the original 10-43 IBM barrel and nice wood, the others were new reproductions. Needless to say, the IBM went on layaway for a couple of weeks and it just came home today, along with another find from the Gun Library, a nice Charter Arms AR-7 with a simmons scope mounted on it.
The IBM was $499 and the AR-7 was $99

wow, at cabela's none the less. at the local cabela's here, that IBM would be way over $2000.
