Want to know the screw size for the carbine buttplate .

Need to know the measurement length, width, head size of the buttplate screw for a project I am doing.

I can't give you the measurements but I can tell you it's the same screw that has been used on butt plates as far back as the Spanish American war if not earlier.

Also for rear sling swivel for most U.S. rifles and shotguns made before '43
