CMP carbine specials.

Anyone remember the CMP carbine specials that were available at Camp Perry a few years ago. I managed to pick up 2 but haven't seen anyone comment about them or their availabilty at the time. Were they all sold out in 1 day? Whatta Hobby!

my only visit to the South Store was in 2016 the day after they released the big carbine lot,
the guy there told me they sold all the carbines but 6 parts piles (basically barrelled receivers) by lunch and then sold most everything else by close

all that was there was some M1C's less scope, and D specials they had built up from parts,

Thanks. Never did get to the South Store and only to North Store during the Summer Games for a few years. Have never seen these rebuilt and re-parked Carbine Specials other than the one day at Camp Perry. Scuttle butt was they were put together as gifts for guys coming home from the sand box but project was scuttled by BO. Whatta Hobby!
