Book advice wanted

Going to a show tomorrow looking for a good reference book/books on the M1 carbine & the Garand (WW2). Thoughts?

One book for both doesn't work very well. Your better off get reference books for both type rifles by them selves.
A good one for the carbine would be US M1 Carbines. Wartime Production by Craig Riesch. It's in it's 6th edition at least. Goes for around $22 to $24 soft cover.
