There are opportunities here to find both buyers and sellers of firearms. There are also opportunities to get scammed. We recommend the following:
1. Do not deal with someone who is wiling to break federal law by shipping to anyone but an FFL. You can't trust a cheater.
2. If you spending more for a gun than you are willing to throw away, research and choose a reputable escrow company to hold the funds until you receive and are satisfied with your purchase.
Racist remarks and "jokes" are not in the spirit of honoring our veterans and will not be permitted.
A friend has an early Type 1 Winchester. On the bottom of the pistol grip is a small capitol "A". No rebuild marks and carbine is all correct high wood. Anyone know what this means, I have never seen this before. Thanks to all.
If there is no proof P on the underside of the grip then it's most likely been sanded off. The A could be for anything but not factory done. How does the acceptance stamp look if it's still there?
