      Looks like he or someone else adapted the bayonet to fit the rifle in spite of it not having a mount! Cool! Sincerely. bruce.

              That is a photo of an early attempt at putting the bayonet on the carbine. It didn't work out as it was not supported well. Took awhile for them to finally figure it out but they did.
