I have an all original inland 155xxx and think the barrel date is 12-42 i believe (have to go dig it out to confirm) yours id imagine MAYBE 1-43?

Your serial number would date to about 1-43 BUT barrel production at Inland was around three months ahead of receiver production at that time so your serial number could have a barrel dated 11-42, 12-42 or 1-43 depending on what was in the bin at the time. Later in 1943 production of receivers did catch up to barrel production.
