Irwin pedersen question

Does any one know for sure or is there any documentation that IRWIN PEDERSEN used "U" marked front sights on 1942 dated Underwood barrels? Also did they use "PEDERSEN U" marked hand guards? Could these parts be original to a non rework original IP carbine? Thanks

Different Pedersen. Unless some were transferred I believe Underwood was the only one to use the handguards supplied by the Pedersen Brothers. Co.
