    Heresy! Fulton-Armory 6.5 Creedmore M-14's

    Greetings:

Atleast with a new site, the troll won't be able to find and screw with us for a bit.

    H. E. R. E. S. Y. !!!! Fulton Armory is selling an M-14 enhanced sniper in 6.5mm Creedmore.

    What's next? Garands in 300 blackout? 6.5mm Creedmore? .300 Blackout M-14 clones?

Seriously, anyone buy one of these and shot it to compare to a stock 7.62mm/.308 Win clone?

One wonders, if they had to fiddle with the recoil spring weight and/or gas hole to get consistant operation?

Let loose the Kraken! Awaiting responses.

not sure who the troll is,

however I have read a few posts about it on CMP forum,

    seems to be liked,,

and keep in mind you could get both in alternate calibers from SA (the business) back in the day

    I'll stick with 30.06(M1) and .308 (M14)

The 6.5 is a great cartridge... just not service rifle legal for matches.

Makes total sense to spend $1500-2200 for a replica match service rifie in a caliber that never was and cannot be fired in any sanctioned service rifle matches.

          NOT!

Wouldn't doubt they cost even more than I guessed...

Marketing to the latest 6.5 mm craze. They do make a nice rifle regardless.

It's really a case of "what ever floats your boat". The 6.5 Creedmoor is a great cartridge and super accurate in the right rifles. Mine is a Rugar PC. It wouldn't have any great advantage in the M14 (except recoil management), but would probably be fun to shoot.

No problem with the notion, here. If it keeps their doors open, and puts more active shooters on the range, and in the field, then I'm for it. If I had the income to do it, I'd have a room full of the things in different chamberings.

"...Fulton Armory is selling an M-14..." No, they aren't. ATF would confiscate any M-14 receiver. It's an M1A clone.
"...Garands in..." .270 Win and .35 Whelen I think it was. They were not issue receivers.
                  Spelling and grammar count!

Springfield offered the M1A in .243Win & .358Win for years. I've also heard of barrels in 7mm08.
If I had the resources I'd have all 3 and be having a 6.5 Creedmore built.
Of all the rifles I've owned in my lifetime the M1A has always been my favorite , I bought my first 34 years ago.
