          early Winchester stocks

          Some collectors have stated that Winchester even use wood from their custom shop when they
          started production of the M1 rifle early in 1941

              Yes Tom, original stocks believed to be from post WW2 Rock Island stored in a barn in Wisconsin. The GCA Journal had a feature
              article on this not long ago by Rick Borecky
