        Orlando:

Easier on the mind, just to buy a whole *new* one from various parts places.

I have piles of stripped pinions and the tools to repair them, just hate to throw something away if I can fix them

Been thinking about your problem off and on, I'd look into getting a copy of the pinion drawings and seeing what the procedure for assembly was, back in the day.

Orlando.. Is that one of the Danish rear sight tool sets???.... Sarco has all of the parts in the original packaging, finding them may be a problem. Two of their ex-employees knew where they were when I needed them.

Yes its a Danish tool set. I would love to have the parts but have read to many horror stories of people not getting the parts they order or not the condition as advertised from Sarco

Orlando... I used to visit Sarco twice a week when the retail store was in Sterling, NJ, was a member of the Chinese food club for Saturday lunch and Wed. evening coffee clutch. The long term part timers knew where all the good stuff was stashed. Both Mike and Randy have passed on and RC, Carl, George, and others have gone on to other things. I don't make that trip to Easton but twice a year nowadays... I started going to "Choly's" when he was doing business from his basement in the 60s. I met a lot of great guys there, both employees and customers... Ahhh the good ole days! The tool sets were copied and sold on-line around the time of the Danish return rifle craze....I have one of those.. it works..
