Are you attempting to find the correct revision number and heat lot codes for certain serial numbers ?

If you post some WW2 serial numbers (don't have to be complete) I have some data from years of collecting data sheets
on M1 rifles from WW2 and may be able to help you.

example 1940 rifles started with revision 1 bolts and then early revision 2 bolts heat lots B1, B2, C11, T1, X1 etc

Post WW II rifle. He has a bad bolt. Not the right dash number. So he is looking to get the right dash number and possibly the right heat treat number.

I would advise to post your question and serial number on the CMP forum
