    Decisions, decisions?

Down to the last 5 of the 13 receivers I picked up last Fall. Trying to decide which to nail together next. 2-Rock-Ola, 2-James River and 1-Bula M21 DMR marked. I am leaning toward the Rock-Ola with the XX ser#. Got a new Winchester barrel and parts just itching to become a rifle.

Wasn't so tough after all. XX marks the spot today. As new Winchester USGI barrel, Rock-Ola bolt, Winchester Op Rod, M1 rear sights with NM apature, SA trigger group, Unitized gas cylinder and a Chinese flash suppressor on the tip. Headspaced at 1.632 and ready for the range.

A gentleman on another forum shamed me into removing the Chinese flash suppressor, which was planned anyway, and replacing it with one of the LRB muzzle brakes. I try to keep a supply of these in the shop.

Looking over a few barrels from the shelf and trying to decide which to use on the last 4 receivers.

        Top to bottom.

        1. LRB/Criterion 6.5 Creedmoor 1-8 22".
        2. Bula ultra heavy 6.5 Creedmoor 1-8 22".
        3. Bula ultra heavy .308 22".
        4. Bula med NM .308 1-10 nipped and crowned 20.5"
        5. LRB all states compliant .308 crowned 19".
        6. SEI standard weight nipped and crowned 17".

4 left now. I am really trying to pace it out. Plenty of loading to do for the upcoming season so I should be good.
Having way too much fun. Whatta Hobby!

Nope, no interest in that variation at all.
