    Boresighting new M14.

Finally getting around to boresighting new M14 with Leatherwood M1200-XLR. In the house at 14 yds using Site-lite SL-500 and BTC software to print target for 175 gr bullet zero at 100 yds. Windage was dead on, elevation needed some adjustment.

    Rifle ready for boresighting.

Target stapled to door frame at 14 yds.

View through the rear slider as I was setting up scope. Surprise.

The little buck in the above photo was bringing up the tail of a dozen deer with a much larger buck at the head of the gang. By the time I grabbed my camera, most of the parade had already passed.

Got out for a short time and did a little function fire with the new rifle. A little trigger work and I think I will have a decent shooter in a traditional wood stock. Using mixture of LC 07 - 10 M118LR from TargetSports.
