Winchester M14 stock with the mark of Zorro?

Digging through a bunch of old stocks in the shop I found this old Winchester with the mark of Zorro. It looks old enough to have been around then. This old girl has dings and dents, and repairs that must have an interesting story to tell. If nothing else, this thing has character. Going to use it on one of my 2020 traditional builds.

You can still find nice examples of the Winchester "big red" stock that have not been through rebuild. In original
configuration, they feel larger and are nice stocks.

I have gotten a bunch of them as new from Fred's over the years. It is nice to be getting to bottom of the barrel on parts and stocks. Time to start doing more shooting.
