Suppressor ready barrel by Bula Defense Systems

Brand new design barrel manufactured by Bula Defense Systems.
This is a suppressor ready M14 type 16" barrel. Muzzle is threaded 5/8 x 24 as is the new gas lock. There are two types of gas locks in the photo, one with a front sight dovetail base and the other with no base for use with optic set ups only. Gas cylinder is keyed rather than the old spline. Op rod guide is also keyed. These will be available on rifles built by Bula soon.

Had some fun in the shop this afternoon. When someone says the parts are mean to be press fit on one of these, they really mean it. This is a semi-permanent assembly. Not a conventional M14 build, that's for sure. This " unit " is ready to be indexed to a receiver tomorrow.

Here she is. Punisher version 2.

Sorry Hawk but this stock came to me with the cutout nicely filled. I am afraid I would destroy it trying to get it ready for one of your kits.

Popped the shop testing 4x Redfield and Bassett mount on Punisher 2. Ready for the range and field reports tomorrow.

Function fired 50 rnds this morning. Changed out the Redfield 4x for a Hi-Lux M40 repro 3 - 9 that I had on another M14 variant.
All went well. Found that the iron sights are easily usable under the scope with the Bassett mount so it's staying.
Accuracy was sub 1.75 moa so I am pleased, so far, with the short barrel.

              Thanks,
Just waiting for an OSS suppressor and a shortened gas plug. In the meantime, it's a hoot to shoot.

Re: OP. Always it is a pleasure to see what you will come up with as you take various components and whip up M-14/M-1A type rifles that are beyond the original USGI rifle. Sincerely. bruce.
