Winchester M1 rifle barrel with flaming bomb ordnance stamp

Anyone recall looking at a Winchester M1 rifle barrel with the standard markings (drawing number and VP proof)
and also seeing the flaming bomb stamp too ?

Winchester M1 Carbines also have the flaming bomb stamp too in addition to the normal markings

The 'flaming bomb' stamp is the U.S. Ordnance Dept acceptance stamp. Means the thing came off a rifle. Doesn't mean it's good or bad though.

During WW2 it was used alot on contractor barrels: M1 carbine, Buffalo Arms M1 rifle barrels

I believe some Winchester M1 rifles also had the flaming bomb stamp but not very many

"...used a lot on..." It would be if the stuff/parts was/were accepted by the Ordnance Dept.
