SA SHM cartoucted stock

Not all the SA SHM stocks were worked over rebuilds with this cartouche, In two well known journals, it was reported
that some new production stocks did receive the SA SHM cartouche. Between 10K to 12K new rifles are thought are
thought to have these stocks. These new production SA SHM stocks were also used on late war and post war rebuilds

The last 750 M1 Rifles built in WW2 had SA/SHM stocks.
