Markings on my barrel

I have a Danish Garand.Can anyone explain the numbers.

Manufacturer VAR, D-6535448 is the drawing number for the barrel,10-59 is the barrel date, this one is a guess but 278 may be a steel lot or batch number or individual inspectors stamp and the other three marks are proof and or inspection marks.

The VAR barrels I've been around are very fine shooters.

VAR stands for Vaben Arsenalet which means Arms Arsenal. The DK with Crown is the Danish Military Property Mark. Just a guess but the letter M may indicate the magnetic partical test. I don't know what the letters within the circle represent.
