What am I missing??

We had a local auction here, lots of military stuff, some rifles, bayos, etc. Two M1's a Fed Ord and a SA. no detail descriptions. Most items sold for little money, many for half of gun show prices. I figured dealers. Couple real bargains, for instance I got an excellent MK 1 Parris-Dunn Navy training rifle for 50 bucks.How ever the Fed Ord M1 sold for 1650 and the SA went for 1150. Whats with a Fed Ord.? Some idiot think its a rare Gov. contract?

Some auctions are just plan crazy with bids. I'm always amazed what some people will bid for things. One comes to mind, is a young fellow that bid a bit over $450.00 for a .303 Brit rifle with no magazine. He was so proud at wining the rifle until we told him he needed a magazine.

Yeh, and on the other hand I got a ultra rare Czech bayo for 125 bucks. Should be worth triple that!
