    M1a barrel change

Has anyone had any experience with Fulton Armory on gun smithing work? I would like to have my barrel changed in favor of a heavy barrel.

I just bought a rear lugged barreled receiver from them, went with a Krieger medium weight S/S barrel. I sent them my TRW bolt and a USGI flash suppressor and they had the whole thing done and shipped to my FFL in 8-days after receiving my parts. They also re-Parked my bolt for no charge so it matched the receiver finish. If you buy the barrel from them they only charge $75 to install it on your receiver, this includes lapping the bolt if needed, this is about 1/2 of what you'll pay a good M14 smith (Ted Brown, Art Luppino, Gus Fisher) to do the same job if you supply all the parts.
