Good source for fiberglas / composite rear handguards??

Would like to obtain current manufactured rear handguard fr the M1 Garand.

Would like to modify to allow mounting a EOTech type optic.

    Thanks.

I don't believe there's one made in a composite material, only aluminum.

Here's one in aluminum at Brownells http://www.brownells.com/optics-moun...prod55708.aspx

You might want to rethink the EOTech as it's more suited for the AR in .223, look at the Aimpoint red dot sights w/a 2 MOA dot, I really like the Aimpoint micro T-2 that I have on a M1A w/a handguard rail.

      Hope that helps.
