is an m-1c correct with a t-37 flash suppressor?

    or, with no flash supressor?

    also,

are there any documented m-1c combat kills?

    same question for the m-1d

    thx,

I know the Marines did not use the flash hider much. Most of the pics you see of the Marines, they are not using them.

I have seen a training video of a C from the 50's and they have a T37 on it.

Use of M!C in Korean War

Here is one of my favorites, use the link and scroll down. In the Korean War Marine Staff Sergeant John E. Boitnott had one of his men repeatedly expose himself to the enemy to provide targets for Boitnott and his M1C. Link below does not mention that the toll might have been higher except that when higher ups heard that the PFC was being used as bait they put a stop to it.

Correct is relative Goo. If it's hanging on a wall or sitting in a rack as an "As issued" rifle then the answer is no. If it's being used as it was in WWII, Korea and beyond (being shot) then the answer is yes IMHO.

I used to do high power and did pretty good with M2AP out to 100 yds. They wouldn't let me use my M1D, darn it.
