About gas cylinder locks, have you noticed...

Un-issued high hump locks seem to be non-existent today.
N.O.S. old style, "M" marked locks are plentiful but I can't find an unused, new, black, high hump type anywhere.
If anyone has a lead as to were I might find one please chime in.
I have tried all the usual places with no luck.
In the mean time I guess I'll explore ways to chemically blacken the ones I have and no, I'm not interested in any spray-on coatings.
    Thanks,
    Chris.

I was just about to recommend Mel Bishop Garands and was searching for their web address when Debbie responded. MBGarands in South Dakota is an excellent source for M1 parts and their customer service is superb.
