    Bula Defense Systems XM21 builds

One happy camper here in Connecticut. Jeff and Bula have done it yet again. My photos do not do them justice. Just picked these babies up at my FFL. We all need projects.

Parts started arriving for a couple of Bula Defense builds to add to my collection.
Jeff and Bula are making some of the nicest looking M14 parts available.
    Hand salute to Bula.

Just couldn't sit around admiring these chunks of metal.
Popped down in my shop and installed the barrels and headspaced to aproximately 1.6325.

Beautiful day to take the new girls out for their first visit to the sunshine. The brass dings on the old Bushnell scope are 40 years old from a mini 14.

You work fast... Both are very good looking in their nicely figured stocks, how'd they print on paper?

Too early to really comment Jay, but with the Bula med weight NM barrels they will be close to moa when they are broken in. Give them a couple of hundred rounds each and I will post targets with pride. The scopes that are on them were just for function testing. One scope is an old Bushnell sportview and the the other is a Leupold 2 - 7 . Both scopes are in the shop and only used for initial firing with rifles like these that have no iron sights.

As some of you know, I have been building consecutive ser# M14s for awhile now. I have two sons that are ex military and each will get one.
First photo is Ser# 2 and Ser#3 from a group buy at Team14. James River/Bula Forge receivers.
Second photo is of recent builds on Bula Defense Systems version 2 XM21s Ser# 2 and Ser#3.
Third photo is Bula Forge version 1 XM21s Ser# 3 and Ser#4 from last year.

              Update.

Ser #2 has just accepted a Leupold MK4 LRT 8.5 - 25 and a new observation is making me very happy.
The way the rail on these rifles is separated, for those of us that single load, a new rnd can be snapped into the mag with your left fingers " under " the scope. This advantage is fantastic for the way I shoot the scoped XM21.
Bula Defense is really looking out for the long range prone shooters. OooooH Raaaaa!

Thanks for sharing. I'm watching all the Bula developments over on the M14 forums. Can't wait to get my hands on one of their barreled receivers. Really want one of their 19.25in barrels.

I can't wait to see more of them out there. It is so much fun to see folks enjoying a new product.
Bula Defense is doing an amazing job of working at the production of parts to keep our hobby afloat.

Very nice. What does Bula get for those receivers and, will JRA build a rifle on them?

                        In the neighborhood of 695.
No , these are not considered assault weapons in CT. YET!

Ordered a JAE Gen 3 today. This will compliment a Gen 2 that I have on an LRB M25.
